In this past year, my eczema has really flared up a lot. I think it is probably due to stress, but I still need to find ways to cope with it, and try to relieve the symptoms throughout the day. A couple great products arrived at my house recently, that have been really gentle and calming for my dry, itchy skin.
I received the Pumpkin Patch Soap, as well as the Unscented Body Butter from Rocky Mountain Soap Company. I have found the soap to be very gentle, and not irritating at all. It contains pumpkin pulp, which is full of wonderful vitamins and anti-oxidents. The body butter is so rich and smooth! It totally relieves the itchiness of eczema, and provides some much needed moisturizing as well. I love to put it on just after a shower (with the pumpkin soap of course!), as well as before I go to bed.
One other product that I got to try out was the Blossom Fresh Deodorant. I love it! It rolls on so silky, and has a nice fresh scent. Normally I'm not a huge fan of deodorant, and tend to avoid most brands because of the nasty chemicals found in them. Honestly, I don't sweat a whole lot, so I don't usually think about it. I do have my moments though, and I'm glad to have the option of using a safe, natural deodorant. Their slogan is right.
